South Derbyshire District Council operate a free Saturday morning Refuse Freighter service for areas which are more than five miles away from the civic amenity site at Park Road Newhall.

The Parish Council awards grants, at its absolute discretion, to organisations which can demonstrate a clear need for financial support to achieve an objective which will benefit the Parish. Large or bulky items can be removed on the bulky service at a quoted cost -

First aid/ Defibrillator Training
The Council offers a first aid/ defibrillator training session on 30th September provided that at least 10 residents are interested; it will be held at Chester Green in Derby.
